How we handle information for quote requests, custom software, automation, websites, AI, MCP, and data integration projects.

Last updated: June 2026. This policy is written for DataConnector Pro website visitors, quote requests, and project clients.

1. Information we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, optional phone number, and project notes. During a project, we may also receive technical details about your systems, workflows, APIs, data fields, service accounts, hosting environment, and business requirements.

2. How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, scope projects, prepare quotes, build and support agreed deliverables, communicate about work, maintain records, troubleshoot systems, and improve our services.

3. Credentials and system access

Some projects require access to third-party systems, APIs, hosting accounts, databases, or service accounts. We use credentials only for the agreed project purpose and encourage clients to provide scoped service accounts, least-privilege permissions, and revocable access whenever possible.

4. AI and MCP workflows

For AI, MCP, and automation projects, project data may be processed through tools or providers selected for the implementation. We discuss relevant data flow, access, and risk considerations during project scoping. We do not intentionally use client confidential information to train public AI models unless you explicitly authorize that use in writing.

5. Third-party providers

We may rely on service providers for hosting, email, analytics, logging, source control, deployment, payment, AI APIs, and business operations. These providers may process information as needed to deliver their services. Third-party platforms you already use are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

6. Logs and diagnostics

Software systems may generate logs, error reports, webhook records, API responses, and diagnostic data. We use this information to monitor, debug, secure, and maintain integrations and applications. Where practical, sensitive data should be minimized in logs.

7. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, work with approved subcontractors or providers, or with your direction or consent.

8. Data retention

We keep inquiry, project, billing, and operational records for as long as reasonably needed for business, support, legal, tax, and security purposes. You may request deletion of information, subject to practical, legal, contractual, and backup limitations.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical practices to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure. Clients should rotate shared credentials, use scoped access, and remove access when it is no longer needed.

10. Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you provided. You can also choose not to provide optional information, such as a phone number, when submitting a quote request.

11. Updates

We may update this policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
